Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao
Six stabbing incidents at kindergartens in China occurred in the past two months. In total over 20 young kids' lives were taken and dozens more were wounded. Chinese officials promised to enhance security measures and implement more effective policies to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. When Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao was asked about the recent rampages in kindergartens, he admitted that tightening security is important, but that solving the underlying causes is even more necessary such as how to handle contradictions, easing the disputed cases and improving reconciliation at the grassroots level.
"I am deeply sorry these incidents happened and for the death of the children. These are tragedies for their families. I feel deeply sorry in my heart," said Wen Jiabao at an interview in Tianjin China on May 13, 2010.

In a rare admission for the Chinese leader, Premier Wen Jiabao said there are underlying causes that are responsible for these incidents. Usually the Chinese Communist regime promotes the idea that a harmonious society exists in China.
